Create a bill of materials showing the quantity of each component per kit and the total number of kits. Record the loading sequence, product orientation, insert position and closure method. Separate required steps from optional presentation preferences. For multiple variants, identify the differences explicitly and assign a clear kit reference. A common component can belong to several versions, but printed cards or products that look alike need unambiguous identification. The plan should explain how incomplete kits and component shortages are handled.

Review the actual products, boxes, inserts, wraps, cards and labels together. Identify fragile surfaces, loose accessories and items that must remain in their original protective wrapping. Incoming component condition affects the finished result, so damaged or uncertain material should be distinguished from usable stock. Check the fit of all packaging before treating the component list as ready for assembly. Include any consumables required to close or protect the kit.

Specify the visible presentation through an approved example or clear photographs. Card position, tissue fold, label location and the direction of each product should be deliberate where they affect the experience. Personalization and variant labels need the correct approved data and artwork. Changes to the contents should be reviewed against the packaging rather than substituted only by item count. A similar bottle or accessory can change fit, total weight or the appearance of the opened set.

Approve a first completed kit against the bill of materials and packing instructions. Define checks for count, version, orientation, condition and closure, with a clear process for exceptions. Reconcile component use with completed kits and agreed allowances or leftovers. Check identification on the finished pack and any outer carton. Kitting is a defined assembly service; it does not automatically include formula testing, product repair or a separate transport qualification unless those tasks are agreed.

Send the item list, quantities per kit, total quantities by version and component availability. Include a sample kit or packing photographs, artwork, label data and the desired finished condition. Identify who provides each material and any restrictions on opening original packs. Share timing, outer-carton requirements and delivery arrangements so the assembly plan can account for both the individual kit and the final handover.
